Roji I and Roji II are companion abstract textural pieces that evoke the tranquil and evocative atmosphere of Japanese tea garden paths, known as "roji," where simplicity and natural beauty guide one toward reflection.
In contrast, Roji II explores the transition from light to shadow, with a slightly darker, richer palette. Weathered browns, and forest greens dominate, with a richer interplay of darker, more intense purples—mulberry and eggplant—layered with midday blues.
