My work isn’t simply about the subjects I paint—it’s about the story each piece holds beneath the surface. Every gesture, figure, or motif is a vessel for something deeper: a narrative thread, a remembered feeling, a provocation. The concept drives the composition. I’m less interested in perfect likeness and more drawn to evoking something intangible—an atmosphere, a tension, a moment suspended in thought.
